Home is usually a place close to the heart, often a prized possession. "The strongest sense of home commonly coincides geographically with a dwelling or place.” We humans are creatures of habit, the state of one’s home physiologically influences behavior, emotions, and overall mental health. Places like home trigger self-reflection, thoughts about who we are or used to be or who we might become. These types of reflections occur in places where there is a collective historical identity.
We often become homesick if we leave home for an extended period.

Got to attend your FOR presentation. You touched on so many profound insights at the foundation of our most enduring challenges. I'm so grateful to be aware of your work. Thank you.
