Home is usually a place close to the heart, often a prized possession. "The strongest sense of home commonly coincides geographically with a dwelling or place.” We humans are creatures of habit, the state of one’s home physiologically influences behavior, emotions, and overall mental health. Places like home trigger self-reflection, thoughts about who we are or used to be or who we might become. These types of reflections occur in places where there is a collective historical identity.

I like to make guests feel at home by sharing a meal. Breaking bread together bonds you to one another. It’s a commonality that we all share. Hunger, food, eating. 12/23/2018 07:56:35 am
Sunday. A day spent in worship, service to others or just being at home. In our Black culture in Tennessee, Sunday is the best day of the week. What is your Sunday like?
